    Free Server Monitoring

    Most companies hear about an outage from a customer first. With free server monitoring, we check your website and the server ports that matter from outside your network on a regular schedule, and alert you when they stop answering. We need no login and install nothing on the server.

    • A customer called to say our site was down, and we had no idea.
    • I can't tell how many times our server went offline last month.

    Free Security Scan

    Plenty of break-ins start with an outdated plugin or a port someone forgot to close. Our free website security test looks at your site and your server's public addresses from the outside, read-only. You get a short report that tells you what to fix first.

    • Our website was built years ago and nobody has updated it since.
    • Google or our antivirus flagged the site as possibly unsafe.

    Backup Health Check

    A backup that has never been restored is an assumption. In a server backup check, we review your backup jobs, where the copies live and when the last good copy was made, using read-only access. With your approval, we also restore a sample file or database in an isolated environment to see whether the backup holds up when you need it.

    • Backups are set up, but we have never tried restoring one.
    • All our backups sit on the same server they are supposed to protect.

    Performance Review

    You upgraded the server, the site felt faster for a few days, and now it is slow again. The cause usually sits elsewhere, like a query with no index or too few PHP-FPM workers. Before we suggest anything to speed up your VPS, we measure resource usage, web server config and the database, and show you where the bottleneck is.

    • The site is fine in the morning and stops loading when afternoon traffic picks up.
    • Server load is high and I can't tell which process is behind it.

    Infrastructure Review

    Your company has grown, and the network and servers were added piece by piece over the years. Our IT infrastructure assessment starts with a free first visit, on-site or remote, where we record how things stand today without changing any system. You come away with a ranked list of risks and tasks that makes the next decision easier.

    • Nobody has a map of our network, so every change is trial and error.
    • Our previous IT person left, and nobody has the passwords or the documentation.

Choosing a free server and security audit

A free server and security audit gives you a clear picture of where your systems stand before you spend money on changes, contracts or new hardware. Every check in this category runs from outside your network or with read-only access. We don't change any settings, and you receive a written report that ranks the problems by risk. Fixing what the report finds is not part of the free check and is quoted separately.

Start from the question that worries you most. If outages tend to reach your customers before they reach you, Free Server Monitoring is the place to begin. If plugins, panels or open ports haven't been reviewed in a long time, choose the Free Security Scan. If you take backups but have never restored one, the Backup Health Check tells you whether they would work on a bad day. For a site that is still slow after a server upgrade, the Performance Review looks for the actual cause. When the question is broader, for example a network that grew piece by piece over the years, the Infrastructure Review starts with a first visit, on site or remote.

Typical moments for an audit: taking over systems from a previous IT person or contractor, before renewing a hosting or support agreement, after an outage nobody fully explained, or before buying new servers.

The report usually points to the next step. Security findings lead to Server Hardening or Firewall & Network Security, backup gaps to Backup & Disaster Recovery, and slow servers to Linux Server Management or Load Balancing & HA. Ongoing care falls under an IT Support Contract. If a server is down or you see signs of a breach right now, skip the audit and go straight to emergency support.
